Why Choose Acoustic Panels? Style, Warmth, and Acoustic Performance.
Acoustic wall panels are a stylish and modern option for internal cladding. Featuring real wood, acoustic panels provide natural warmth, and with distinctive wooden groves, these panels offer depth and dimension to any room. What’s more, the panels have been designed to significantly improve the sound quality of the room. This makes them the perfect choice for any lounge, home cinema, dining room, workspace, and even commercial interiors. These functional yet attractive panels will elevate the aesthetic of any room while also offering impressive sound cushioning.
What Are They Made Of? A Smart Blend of Materials and Sustainability.
These acoustic wall panels offer the ideal balance between low maintenance PVC materials and attractive wood finishings. The boards feature a rigid backing made from 100% recycled plastic, creating a sustainable and reliable base for installations. This backing will not warp and is designed to make installation easier.
The main feature of these boards is the real oak and wood veneer finish on all three sides of each slat. Your customer will be pleased to know that this wood is sustainably sourced and FSC approved. These boards provide a natural and realistic wood finish which is consistently popular with homeowners.
Colour Options to Suit Every Space and Style
Not all tastes are the same, that’s why we are pleased to offer our new acoustic panels in 4 classic yet varied finishes. Contemporary Oak provides a familiar warmth to the room with its crisp modern lines. Washed Oak is a paler hue, bringing light and functionality to any workspace. Elegant Oiled Oak is a sophisticated yet neutral alternative to Contemporary Oak. And finally, Ash Grey is the darkest wood available, creating a dramatic and striking feature in a room.
Quick and Easy Installation – Built with Trade Professionals in Mind.
It’s one thing for the panels to be attractive and win-over your customer, but they also need to be easy for you to install. We know how important your time on site is, that’s why we always pick products that are low maintenance and made with builders in mind.
These acoustic panels are lightweight, making them easier to install and saving your team time on site. They are also designed to be more versatile than regular internal cladding as they are 2.6m tall, making them suitable for older properties as well. Our acoustic panels can be installed using adhesives available at all three of our trade counters. What’s more, we can also deliver the adhesive to your site when we deliver the panels. As previously mentioned, the PVC backing ensures a clean and easy to use surface for installation.

Installing PVC fascias and soffits is the best way to secure a low-maintenance roofline that not only looks great but also offers excellent protection for the property. Here at Edge Building Products, fascias and soffits are some of our most popular products with trades. That’s why we work hard to maintain unparalleled stock levels and deliver next working day to sites in the South East. Let’s take a closer look at why you shouldn’t underestimate the importance of fascias and soffits when securing a roofline.
What are fascias and soffits?
Put simply, fascias are long boards that run along the edge of the property to seal the gap between the roof and the nearest wall. Soffits are then fixed underneath the fascia board to close the gap between the fascia and the external wall. Combined, they create a sleek and smart finish for the roofline.
What’s the role of fascias and soffits in roofline protection?
Weather Protection
By sealing the gap between the roof rafters and the external walls the fascias and soffits provide necessary weather protection for the property. By preventing rain, snow, and wind damage to the loft space, the roofline is protecting the property against leaks and rot, which can lead to costly repairs!
Roofline Ventilation
Soffits with integrated ventilation, such as our 9mm Vented Flat Soffit Board, allows for controlled airflow through the property. This will prevent condensation from building up in the loft space which can lead to mould, damp, and eventually structural damage to roofing components.
Structural Support
One of the key functions of fascia and soffit boards is to offer a secure base for gutter installations. In areas of high rain fall (like the UK!), gutters are under a lot of pressure. By securing them to a PVC roofline they are less likely to become damaged or detach from the property.

Pest Prevention
Similar to weather protection, by closing any gaps along the roofline the fascias and soffits will be a strong deterrent to any birds, pests or insects looking to nest. This will protect the integrity of the internal rafters and loft space from pest damage.
Aesthetic Appeal
Although we are big fans of fascias and soffits for their practicality, they should also look great! That’s why we only stock PVC roofline products for our customers. This is a low maintenance option for any home or property. As a PVC product, it is resistant to UV and weather damage, rot, and pests. What’s more, these boards only require a wipe-down with soapy water to stay looking their best. Plus, we offer both sprayed and foiled fascias and soffits in both a smooth and a grained finish, and in up to 15 different colours!
Most Popular with Trades
While we offer a broad range of fascias and soffits, from cover boards and ogee fascias to vented and hollow soffit boards, our customers have some firm favourites.
Our most popular fascia is the 9mm Square Capping Board. This fascia is available in over 10 heights to suit the roofline, and each is supplied in 5m lengths. If this product is being shipped outside of our delivery area, it is cut to 2.5m lengths to prevent damage in courier vans.
For soffits, the most popular is our 9mm Flat Soffit. As above, this soffit is available in over 10 heights and is supplied in 5m lengths in our delivery area. If shipping outside of our delivery area, the board is cut to 2.5m lengths to prevent damage in courier vans.
Our two bestselling roofline colours are White and Black Ash. Classics, these complete the roofline with a cool simplicity and provide excellent support for the black guttering which is a favourite among our local trades. However, Rosewood and Anthracite Grey have also been growing in popularity over the past year. Looking for a unique finish?
