Edge Building Products continues to invest in strengthening its internal structure with the appointment of Keely Cockett as Head of Operations. She joins the business with more than 20 years of experience across the building products and construction industry.

Keely started her career as an installer, fitting and supplying uPVC fascia, soffit, and guttering for Wessex Roofline in Aldershot. This experience provided her with a solid understanding of the roofline industry. From there, Keely moved into managerial and sales roles within Omnico Plastics, SIG Roofline, and GAP – managing a total of six trade counters and 4 sales areas during her time. She then progressed into senior operational positions at Fascia Place and GAP.

A Focus on Operational Efficiency

Keely brings a practical, hands-on understanding of how effective operations underpin both customer experience and business performance. Her background has enabled her to develop a strong awareness of the importance of clear processes, team structure, and consistent service.

At Edge, Keely will focus will be on reinforcing these areas, ensuring that the business is well-positioned to support continued growth. An initial priority will be reviewing training needs and understanding the dynamics between the customer service, trade counter, and warehouse teams. Strengthening confidence in product knowledge, and implementing improved processes and procedures, will streamline customer interactions – from the point of receiving an order, right through to delivery to the end user.

Supporting the Next Phase of Growth

As Edge Building Products continues to expand, maintaining a high standard of operational performance is essential. Keely’s appointment reflects a commitment to building a capable, well-supported team that can meet this increasing demand whilst maintaining our high service quality.

Reflecting on her new role, Keely added:

“Giving customers a slick, painless service has always been top of my agenda throughout my career. Customer service and operations go hand-in-hand. Having the opportunity to work closely with both sides means I’m able to have a better overall view of what works, the areas we need to improve on, and how to continue to give fantastic customer experience. It’s refreshing to work with a company who are always keen to take new ideas onboard, and do whatever it takes to ensure we provide our well-known, high-quality products in conjunction with outstanding customer service.”

Following Keely’s appointment, Managing Director Kieran Napthine commented:

“We’re pleased to welcome Keely to the team. She brings a wealth of industry experience and a strong track record in delivering outstanding customer experiences. Her appointment marks an important step in our plans to strengthen the business for 2026 and beyond. We’re looking forward to the expertise and energy she adds as we continue to build momentum in the year ahead. Welcome, Keely!”
