This is our final blog of 2024 so we wanted to say a huge thank you to all our customers and readers. It’s been a tough year for the construction sector, but you’ve been knocking it out of the park with your building projects.
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring you exciting new products and offers. We launched our new EDGEseal Silicone, in the summer one lucky customer won a PlayStation 5, we’ve given out loads of Greggs sausage rolls, launched the deX decking and Triton cladding ranges, and introduced 20mm aluminium trims to our catalogue. Plus, we’ve welcomed more customers than ever before – it’s great to have met so many new trades across the South-East and nationally too.

Spotlight on Excellence: Installation of the Month Winners
Relaunched in May 2024, our Installation of the Month competition has showcased some of the best installations and builds across the South-East. Either nominated by one of our Sales Reps, trade counter staff, or by tagging Edge on social media, we are very grateful to the companies who have taken part.
May ‘24 – AMS Property Services: Great renovation of a front porch using Chartwell Green panelling and brand new white fascias and soffits.
June ‘24 – HV Building & Carpentry: Expertly installed new Misty Grey Fortex Cladding across a bungalow on the South Coast. Harry and his team also installed new fascias, soffits and guttering to the home.
July ’24 – Apex Windows: Colour matching the Residence 9 frames being fitted, Apex Windows installed Brilliant White Ash trims on windows across the entire property.
August ’24 – Miall & Barnes: A great summer installation of Grey deX boards in a residential garden to create a durable and attractive outdoor seating area.
September ’24 – Dalton Carpentry & Joinery Ltd: Completing a 14-month renovation project, Dalton installed new Smarts aluminium windows, aluminium framed bay windows, and Korniche bi-fold doors.
October ’24 – Pinnacle Works Ltd: Completing a 9-month heritage property renovation, Pinnacle Works installed new fascias, soffits, and guttering across the home.
November ’24 – Dennington Glass & Glazing: Using White Liniar door trims and a selection of Soudal products from our trade counter, Dennington replaced an outdated residential sliding door.

3. Black PVC Guttering
Can guttering be stylish? We think so! And so do our customers, as our Black PVC guttering was one of our top products this year. We supply PVC guttering in Classic Ogee, Deepflow, Half Round, and Square, to make sure you can provide the finish your customer is looking for. Our domestic PVC guttering is also available in Anthracite, Brown, White, and Grey. Perhaps you’ll be the trendsetter for 2025’s top guttering colour!

Hottest Trends: Top 3 Colours of 2024
With so many interesting builds and renovations happening this year, lots of customers have installed a few different colours of window trim or roofline. However, nothing could shake these top three colours from the podium. Check out these colours in both our foiled window trims and PVC roofline ranges.
1. Anthracite Grey
Sophisticated and striking, anthracite grey has been hugely popular this year as homeowners look to modernise their properties with aluminium windows and Anthracite Grey composite doors and roofline.
2. Chartwell Green
Adding traditional charm to a property, Chartwell Green has brought a splash of colour to lots of window trims. Plus, check out our Fortex Cladding in Sage Green, perfect for coastal properties and big renovations.
3. White Ash
A classic, White Ash is used across a variety of window profiles and fits in seamlessly. White Ash can also brighten up a roofline when paired with white PVC guttering.
New for 2025!
20mm Aluminium Trims
Our aluminium trims have been so popular this year that we’ve added a new size to our range! We’re now offering aluminium trims in 20mm widths across all 3 colours: Matt Black, Anthracite Grey and Gloss White. Our aluminium trims are powder coated for improved durability and feature a ridged underside to aid adhesion. Plus, if you need a specialist colour, we can spray aluminium trims to any RAL colour.
Triton Cladding
Available in two finishes, Slatted and Shiplap, our new Triton Cladding is a versatile option for any home or building. Crafted from WPC (wood plastic composite) these boards will not warp, rot, or splinter and are highly resistance to weathering. These boards are lightweight, making them easier to install. Plus, we supply all of the necessary clips, screws and corners you will need. Available in Charcoal, Golden Teak, and Light Grey, Triton Cladding creates a sophisticated finish while still mimicking the look of timber cladding.
