Our January installation of the month goes to Scandia Hus for their installation of our roofline products into their brand new show home, ‘The Mulberry’, at their show centre in Sussex.
This fabulous three bedroom property is a chalet style bungalow, which showcases contemporary features to give the home and modern and luxury finish. We supplied low maintenance soffits in clotted cream colour to contrast with the windows, and dark grey fascias to blend with the metallic anthracite guttering, as part of the second fix.
Roofline products are important in protecting the structure from the weather and they are fitted to the outer edges of the roof as a barrier against the rain. We supply a wide range of roofline products including square leg, bullnose, flat roof and ogee fascia, and flat, vented, hollow and decorative roofline soffit. These lines are all available in a range of colours to suit a range of properties and development styles.

Despite being described as a bungalow, there are actually two floors in this show home. The ground floor comprises a dual aspect sitting room, open plan kitchen-diner, study, utility, master bedroom and bedroom 2 both with with walk-in wardrobes and ensuite bathrooms. The first floor has a mezzanine floor from the ‘studio’ which looks down to the ground floor and bedroom three which also has a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. See the floor plan below.
The project took just over 9 months to complete, starting back in April 2021. There are many interesting and modern features in this development including a visible wine cellar with a descending spiral stair case, contemporary electric fire providing a 3D fire visual in the dual aspect sitting room and innovative smart blinds which allow the light to be adjusted with the touch of a button. All adding a touch of luxury to this contemporary property.
