About Jon Stockings
Based in the South East, Jon recently completed an impressive renovation of his own home, selecting premium roofline products from Edge to achieve a traditional appearance with long-term durability.
After being recommended to us by a friend, Jon chose our range of Irish Oak fascia and soffit boards alongside galvanised steel guttering to complete the project.
Project Overview
As part of his home renovation, Jon replaced the property’s previous roofline.
The aim was to create a high-quality finish that not only complemented the property’s appearance but would also provide outstanding performance and durability for many years to come.

The Installation Process
Jon described the installation as straightforward from start to finish – crediting both the quality of the products and the support he received from the Edge team.
Having worked closely with Tristan and Lindsay throughout the project, Jon praised the service he received.
“All the Edge representatives were extremely helpful throughout, especially Tristan and Lindsay.”
He also found the quality of the products made installation considerably easier.
“The soffit and fascia installation was trouble free because of the quality of the product.”
The steel guttering particularly stood out. According to Jon, the system was “extremely solid and well made“, with well-designed components that fitted together accurately and a comprehensive range of accessories to suit different rainwater requirements.
He also found the installation videos available on the Edge website particularly useful, helping make the installation process even more straightforward.
The Finished Result
The completed renovation gives the property a smart, premium roofline that perfectly complements the character of the home.
The rich Irish Oak finish delivers the appearance of traditional timber without the ongoing maintenance, whilst the galvanised steel guttering provides exceptional strength and longevity.
Summing up the finished installation, Jon said:
“The finished look is fantastic, functions well, and will last.”
He added:
“I would have no hesitation in recommending the products used. I would also only ever be using Edge should I need to tackle any other work.”
